Driving to see the lights at Christmastime is a favorite activity for many – no matter the age! Here’s a little guide to some Christmas light display in Savannah (and a few just a short drive away).
Pack up the family and check out some of these great light venues:
Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens: Featuring thousands of lights throughout the gardens, this is a walk-through light display that is sure to delight. Be sure to visit their event page for all the details.

Tybee Island: This year Tybee has a few upcoming events that allow for some lighted festivities.
Join them on Dec 6 for Lights on for Tybee and a Lighted Christmas Parade
December 8th finds them featuring a Lighted Boat Parade.
And the 14th of December is their 12th Annual Tour de Lights (a unique experience of bicycling around Tybee viewing light displays)

TMT Farms: This drive through light display is a great one for the whole family and is on private property out near Statesboro. Plus, canned food items are the admission price. So, you’ll get to see some lights and help others in the process.

Guido Gardens: Another favorite that requires a little drive from Savannah. This lovely property in Metter has an annual walk-through Christmas light display. This year’s display doesn’t start till December 13th. Details for the light display can be found at Sower Ministries:
